Focusing on wholesale markets, China Agricultural Wholesale Markets Associtaion (CAWA), approved by China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs and under the guidance of China’s Ministry of Commerce, is a 4A-level nationwide industrial organization in China, covering the entire industrial chain of agricultural products circulation.

The International Department of CAWA, is responsible for the international communication, expreience exchange, international technical and trade cooperation with overseas stakeholeders and acts as the Secretiariat of Asia-Pacific Regional Working Group of the World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM), founded in 1958, with 242 members covering 42 contries. Till now, CAWA has established friendly and close relations with more than 50 countries on 5 continents and signed MOU with over 20 competent foreign government departments.
